Joint Meeting

Several members attended the City of Mississauga Rotary Clubs Annual Dinner Meeting  at the BraeBan Golf club on Tuesday night. Attendance was up significantly over last year with 150+ Rotarians in attendance. A great evening - fantastic roast beef buffet dinner, excellent speaker and great fellowship.

District Governor, Bob Palmateer updated us on the Afghanistan School. It will be finished late May/early June. The goal for our district was $15,000. To date, Bob has received $10,000. At the meeting Streetsville President, Doug Gerrard presented Bob with and additional cheque for $250, bringing that club's total to $500.
